If you've got a strong mechanical fitting background and thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment - this is where you make an impact. What you'll be doing: As a Skilled Fitter, you'll be hands-on from day one - assembling, fitting, and testing high-integrity aerospace components. It's complex, high-stakes work where quality and safety aren't optional - they're everything. Key Responsibilities: Assembling, fitting, and testing products to exacting engineering standards Performing inspections, surveys, and repairs in line with approved procedures Interpreting technical documentation, drawings, and work instructions Working independently to complete complex fitting tasks Driving performance and productivity improvements Supporting lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement Maintaining top-tier standards in safety, quality, and process control What you bring: You're switched on, reliable, and have a sharp eye for detail. You've got the skills and confidence to take a job from start to finish without hand-holding - and you take pride in doing it right first time. Essential: Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on fitting experience Solid mechanical fitting/assembly background in manufacturing or engineering Comfortable working with technical drawings, quality systems, and measuring tools A proactive mindset - you don't wait to be told what needs fixing A commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship Desirable: Experience in aerospace or defence manufacturing Familiar with lean tools like 5S, root cause, and continuous improvement Confident using a range of hand and power tools What's on offer?
