Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent law school graduates or those with less than three years of legal experience. The ideal candidate will be ready to take on cases and collaborate with seasoned attorneys while engaging with the Eastern Kentucky Mediation Center. Key Responsibilities: Manage assigned cases and collaborate on additional cases based on workflow needs. Conduct legal research, prepare documents, and provide sound legal advice. Participate in mediations and client consultations. Develop expertise in family law, real estate law, mediation, and criminal law. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Bar admission in Kentucky (or eligibility to sit for the bar exam). Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with family law, real estate law, mediation, and criminal law is preferred.
