Description: PeopleSoft Finance/GL SME Job Opportunity Our client, a leading organization in the financial and government sector, is seeking a PeopleSoft Finance/GL SME to join their team. As a PeopleSoft Finance/GL SME, you will be part of the Finance and Transformation departments supporting strategic initiatives involving dual payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: PeopleSoft Finance/GL SME Location: Ottawa (Remote) Pay Range: Target pay rate: $115/hour (flexible within the range of $90-$115/hour) What's the Job?
- Partner with Phoenix GL experts to align and compare finance and general ledger processes across systems.
- Collaborate with strategy and transformation teams to document and explain Level 3 finance and GL processes.
- Analyze and map current and future state processes, identifying impacts of running Phoenix and Dayforce concurrently.
- Provide subject matter expertise on PeopleSoft Finance modules, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, and payroll accounting.
- Support workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate process maps.
What's Needed?
- 7+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Finance, with a focus on General Ledger.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting and system integration.
- Experience in process mapping and documentation at Level 3 (L3) process level.
- Familiarity with Dayforce or similar payroll systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
