Their work supports municipal, commercial, institutional, private development, and residential clients across the region. JOB DESCRIPTION: The Civil/Environmental Engineer is responsible for leading the planning and design of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role involves direct client interaction, public representation, and oversight of water resource initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Civil/Environmental Engineering, the position supports clients through all phases of infrastructure improvement-from initial planning to design scheduling and construction management. Key responsibilities include performing engineering calculations, coordinating with project stakeholders, assisting with bidding processes, and supporting construction oversight. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 8 +years of relevant engineering experience preferred (not required) Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2020 or later) is strongly preferred Familiarity with HydroCAD is a plus Experience preparing permit applications for local and state regulatory agencies is a plus.
