Description: Build your future with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector (Level 1 and Level 2) for a company located in Ontario, CA. As a Quality Inspector you will: Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction. Approve and reject incoming, in-process and finished products by confirming customer specifications Conduct visual and measurement tests using appropriate equipment and methods Performs complete inspection by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance, between reference points, using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, and CMM, to ensure product meets specifications Able to locate reference point(s) on part and measure dimension such as angle, arc, and radii, using combinations of aids, such as surface plate parallel bars, angle plates, gage blocks, gage pins, V-blocks, sine bars, and precision measuring instruments such as height gages Maintain AS9100 standards and requirements. Contribute to incident data and problem-solving methods in MRB process. Participate in process improvement teams to increase inspection efficiency. In performing functions, duties or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, to be aware of Company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable Company policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day. Shift: 4:15am - 12:45pm and 8am to 4:30pm Days: Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday The ideal candidate will have: Inspection Practices Analyzing Information Drawing interpretation ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Metrology Techniques Basic math and Geometry/Trigonometry Continuous improvement mindset Pay Rate: Level 1 $20 per hour Level 2 $22 per hour Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
