Description: Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team. The role is roadside and in an open yard / customer premises maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Must have basic hand tools. Overtime available - HGV Mechanic Experience is a must Duties - Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs on HGVs - Weld and solder components as needed - Diagnose faults and repair equipment - Maintain accurate records of work carried out - Provide excellent customer service during interactions - Interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues Skills - Proficient in electrical systems of HGVs - Ability to weld and solder effectively - Capable of heavy lifting - Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair - Skilled in interpreting schematics - Customer service-oriented attitude Job Type: Full-time Pay: ss19.50-ss22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week Benefits: Company pension Free parking On-site parking Language: English (required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred) Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required) Location: Cardiff (preferred) Work Location: On the road |
