Engineering Technician | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Description: Job Summary: The Engineering Technician at Client is a multidimensional role responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, setting up, and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines in a continuous production environment. The technician supports manufacturing technical operations, working closely with engineers and production associates to improve equipment uptime, complete preventive maintenance, and reduce waste. Responsibilities: Follow engineering drawings, work orders, SOPs, and verbal/written specifications in the manufacturing process. Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair, and dismantle machinery and equipment per layout plans and blueprints. Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, and pressures to ensure adherence to production specifications. Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems using hand and power tools. Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) using the AMMS system for multiple equipment sets. Support production processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Work in biohazard areas and follow all PPE and OSHA guidelines. |
