Associate s or Bachelor s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor s required for RN III) -
Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing (or valid compact license) -
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire -
0 3+ years of RN experience depending on level -
Specialty certification preferred for RN III Grow Your Career in the Neurology/Neurosurgery Care Unit Located in a newly renovated unit, the Neurology/Neurosurgery Care Unit (NNCU) offers experienced nurses the opportunity to work in a modern, team-based environment providing advanced care to med/surg and stepdown-level patients. The unit features upgraded rooms and advanced monitoring capabilities tailored for complex neuro patients, including those with stroke, seizures, brain mass, encephalopathy, spinal surgery, and lumbar drains. Nurses also provide 24/7 epilepsy monitoring and receive training in NIH Stroke Scale certification and Yale swallow screening. Available Shifts: What You'll Do: As an RN in the NNCU, you will: -
Deliver direct care to a wide range of neurology and neurosurgery patients -
Monitor vitals, administer medications, manage IVs and blood products -
Assist with minor diagnostic procedures and monitor neurological activity -
Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the EMR
