Internal Medicine Physician

Join our dedicated team of General Medicine Providers as we perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across beautiful Alaska. This exciting opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact on our nation's Veterans while working in your own office setting.

As a provider, you will be part of a mission-driven organization focused on delivering quality healthcare services. We are specifically seeking candidates located in Juneau, Sitka, and Delta Junction, with a commitment to providing excellent care to our Veterans.

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Collaborate on medical opinions and addendums as required.
• Document and submit detailed reports following assessments.
• Engage in ongoing administrative work related to case management, as necessary.

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in Alaska.
• Must have and use a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.

• Must possess a Board Certification or be Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
• Hold an active medical license specific to Alaska; compact licenses not accepted.
