Description:


Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Orthopedics)



Location: Mesa, AZ



Hours & Schedule: Full Time, Monday Friday



Work Environment: Mix of clinic and ambulatory surgery center (ASC)



Travel Required: No



Salary / Hourly Rate: $120,000 $180,000 base salary



Bonus Offered: Productivity-based bonus (OTE $225,000/year)

Sign On Bonus / Relocation Offer: None



On Call Required: Minimal, shared among ortho APPs

Prior orthopedic experience is a plus, but we are excited to train the right new graduate.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient health status, develop care plans, and determine appropriate diagnostics and treatments

  • Provide acute and chronic care including histories, physicals, injections, medications, and wound care

  • Triage patient phone calls and assess patient needs

  • Respond to urgent and emergency situations, including CPR

  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to coordinated patient care

  • Assist in surgical procedures and perform OR support as needed

  • Participate in hospital rounds and shared on-call responsibilities

  • Educate patients and families to promote understanding and wellness

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • NP/PA Program Completed in USA (Not Puerto Rico)

  • Current Arizona license as a PA or NP

  • NP First Assist training (if applicable) following AORN education standards

  • Orthopedic experience preferred but not required
