Description: Agronomy Applicator/Truck Driver Hysham, Mt. We are seeking an Agronomy Applicator/Truck Driver at our Hysham location. Candidates should be flexible, and detail oriented with a great attitude. The position involves agronomy plant and product application work as well as equipment, maintenance and general service work. In addition, the position requires a CDL and Hazmat certification to be able to drive truck when needed and assist with fuel and propane deliveries in the Agronomy off season. The position reports primarily to Jacob Sanford (Worden Operations Manager) with secondary reporting to Joe Best (Agronomy Director). The ideal candidate will possess a high level of initiative, discretion and independent judgment, with a can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task. Someone who can see things that need to be done and figure out a way to do them effectively and efficiently. POSITION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma (or equivalent), or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Commercial driver's license. Crop nutrient application experience is preferred Fertilizer plant operations experience preferred Understanding and ability to perform basic vehicle service and maintenance Experience operating a forklift and skid steer Teamwork oriented Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel frequently. Ability to lift, carry and load 50-pound (minimum) weight requirements. Proven track record of being dependable and reliable Willingness to learn and operate fertilizer equipment Ability to read basic maps and take directions correctly HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE This is a full-time hourly union position. Monday through Friday with weekend work as needed. Overtime may be required during busy seasons. SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS This position comes with a competitive hourly wage based on background and experience, with a $1 raise once Hazmat certification has been acquired within the first 60 days of employment.
