Position: Dental Director


Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Dental Director to lead our community dental clinic in Jefferson City, MO. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the oral health of our community while overseeing the clinic's operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality dental care.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the community dental clinic, including supervising dental staff and support teams.

  • Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and training to dentists and dental hygienists.

  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high standards of care.

  • Monitor patient care programs to ensure they meet the clinic's goals and community needs.

  • Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of complex dental cases.

  • Collaborate with community health organizations and other healthcare providers to promote comprehensive patient care.

  • Manage the clinic's budget, resources, and staffing needs in collaboration with the administrative team.

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA standards.

  • Advocate for the clinic within the community and engage in outreach activities to expand the clinic's reach.



Qualifications:



  • DDS/DMD degree from an accredited dental school.

  • Active MO state dental license in good standing or eligibility for licensure.

  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentorship and professional development.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • A commitment to serving the community and improving public health.

  • Experience in a community health or public health setting is preferred.
