About the Role: As a Journeyman Plumber with North Country Plumbing & Heating, you'll play a vital role in delivering expertly installed and maintained plumbing systems for residential new construction, remodels, and light commercial projects. From underground rough-ins to final fixtures, you'll be a trusted professional ensuring every system functions safely, efficiently, and up to code. What You'll Be Doing: Installations & Service : Install, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial plumbing systems-including underground and above-ground rough-ins, fixture installation, and mechanical rooms. Blueprints & Layouts : Read and interpret construction drawings to plan and execute complete plumbing systems. System Testing : Use pressure gauges and diagnostic tools to test for leaks and ensure system performance. Customer Communication : Collaborate with contractors and homeowners to keep projects aligned with timelines and expectations. Client Education : Help customers understand their plumbing systems and how to maintain them for long-term performance. Professional Standards : Maintain a clean, organized job site and follow all safety and building codes. What You'll Bring: Proven experience as a licensed journeyman plumber , ideally with residential new construction and remodels Strong understanding of mechanical plumbing systems and local code compliance Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently and independently Comfortable reading blueprints and using specialized plumbing tools Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude A valid driver's license and clean driving record Why Join North Country Plumbing & Heating?
