Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Physician to work locum shifts in Burlington North Carolina (NC). Starting as soon as possible, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology role:

• Acute Care Hospital


• Trauma Level: Adult II III IV


• Work Details: Support staff: not clinic based


• Patient Volume: low


• Patient Age Group: 16-65


• Coverage: 24 Hour On Call


• Shift Description: Day


• Shift: Standard 2, Day (24 Hours) 8:00 - 8:00


• Block Schedules: No


• Schedule Details:


• Frequency of any Call needed: at least 1 weekend call Friday- Monday per month and 1-2 x 24-hour call shifts/week


• Schedule Details: 1-2 weekends/month and variable other call mostly wed-thus (8a Friday -8a Monday) there is wiggle room on Friday if they need to start at 5pm


• They will not do call 5 straight days

Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role:

• NC state license; active, unrestricted


• Board certified OBGYN


• NC State DEA


• BLS and ACLS


• Covid Vaccination- Required or Medical Exemption
