Position: Business Development Representative


Description: For more than 25 years, the Atlas Management team has provided management and human resources solutions to businesses, and employment opportunities to individuals. Atlas Management is hiring Business Development Representative (Sales) for a cabinet installation company. This position is based salary plus commission for the individual who wants to join a knowledgeable team in the industry. The ideal candidate is driven and excited to meet with customers to discuss design and pricing to plan their cabinetry dreams. Business Development Representative (Sales) Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 per year. Plus 3-5% weekly commission of total sales. Benefits upon permanent status Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8a-5p (some flexibility) Status: Contract to hire Job Description: Hit quarterly sales targets by cultivating a steady stream of business opportunities from potential and existing building contractors and other customers Attend on-site appointments with contractors and customers to gather accurate measurements and specifications Guide contractors and customers through cabinetry selection Ensure a smooth handoff to cabinet designers by equipping them with accurate notes on measurements, details, and customer selections Accurately prepare quotes based on standard pricing, job complexity, time, and material costs Assists in resolving collection issues, if needed Requirements and Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED 2+ years of experience in cabinetry sales, including kitchens, baths, wardrobes/closets, libraries, home offices, pantries, and outdoor kitchens. You're familiar with contemporary and traditional manufactured cabinetry design and sales management. Track record of hitting sales targets and goals Ability to maintain friendly, cooperative relations with customers, vendors, company personnel, and management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, etc. Ability to anticipate problems and tactfully handle difficult situations Willingness to learn - Comfortable performing other tasks or assignments as delegated by the Cabinet Design or General Manager of Production You're a reliable teammate. You're professional, consistently at work and on time, and ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent management. Must pass a national criminal background check
