As a growing organization, we're seeking a motivated and bilingual Mortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team.







Job Summary:


As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage application process, from initial consultation to loan closing. This role requires a deep understanding of mortgage products, industry regulations, and a high level of customer service. Fluency in Spanish is a must, as you will work with a diverse client base, including Spanish-speaking customers, to help them navigate the loan process and achieve their homeownership goals.







Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist clients in determining their mortgage needs and educate them on loan options available.

  • Provide advice on loan eligibility, terms, and required documentation.

  • Analyze clients' financial situations (income, credit, assets) to determine the best loan products.

  • Pre-qualify clients for mortgage loans and manage loan applications through processing, underwriting, and closing.

  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking clients, translating complex mortgage information and terms.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral partners.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, mortgage products, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.

  • Meet or exceed monthly loan origination goals and maintain high standards for customer satisfaction.

  • Provide superior customer service throughout the loan application and closing process.

  • Resolve any issues or concerns clients may have and ensure a smooth and timely closing process.

Requirements:

Qualifications:




  • Fluency in Spanish (both verbal and written) is required.

  • Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or in a similar lending role.

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products, processes, and industry regulations.

  • Ability to analyze financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to clients.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) certification required.

  • Knowledge of local real estate markets is a plus.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused.



Preferred Skills:



  • Experience working with Spanish-speaking communities.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to manage a wide range of customer concerns in both languages.

  • Familiarity with mortgage-related software and CRM tools.
