Description: General Summary/basic PURPOSE OF JOB: House Administrator Description: The House Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of clinical units within Mount Sinai Hospital. Working closely with unit managers and the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, the House Administrator ensures units and caregivers run effectively, conflicts are resolved, and policies are followed. The House Administrator is expected to be knowledgeable in both clinical skills to act as a resource during clinical code responses, but also in hospital operations, including emergency incident management. The House Administrator will demonstrate contributions to compliance, education, leadership, and a patient centric environment across the hospital.
JMINIMUM EDUCATION: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved school of nursing Bachelor's degree preferred MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Previous clinical experience within a hospital or healthcare setting is required. Managerial experience preferred. Recent ED/ICU experience. Or recent code experience as a bedside RN. REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS: BLS PALS ACLS Currently registered as a professional nurse in the state of Illinois |
