Description: Position Overview
A community-based acute care hospital in central North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for a full-time, ongoing locum tenens assignment beginning in August 2025. This role includes a mix of general diagnostic radiology, light IR, fluoroscopy, and mammography. Coverage is needed Monday through Friday with no call. The site supports a strong technical workflow with modern systems, including Change Healthcare PACS and PowerScribe One. Assignment Highlights
- Monday-Friday onsite coverage, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No nights, weekends, or call required
- Mix of general diagnostic reads, mammo, fluoroscopy, and light interventional procedures
- EMR: Meditech PACS: Change Healthcare (McKesson) & Intelerad
- VR: Fluency Dictation: PowerScribe One Worklist Manager: RamSoft
- Credentialing in 4-6 weeks
- All hours are billable
- HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency
- Top 10% pay nationally for radiology locums

Skills & Experience
- Board Certification in Radiology (required)
- Active North Carolina medical license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in general diagnostic radiology
- Comfortable with fluoroscopy and light IR procedures (e.g., biopsies, drainages, PICC lines, paracentesis)
- Experience with 3D digital mammography and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies preferred
- Familiarity with PowerScribe, Change Healthcare PACS, and Meditech EMR preferred
