A high-volume emergency department in Ashland, Kentucky is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) for locum tenens coverage. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and well-supported ED environment with a strong specialty backup network. Travel, lodging, and comprehensive malpractice insurance are fully covered. Job Highlights:
Location: Ashland, KY
Start Date: ASAP with clean file (temps available)
Pay Rate: $125/hour
Shift: 12-hour shifts (day and night available)
Coverage: 24/7 APP coverage with 48 hours/day physician support
Setting: Main Emergency Department (no fast track)
ED Volume: 60,000 annually

Clinical Scope:
Common Procedures: Laceration repairs, I&Ds
Advanced Procedures (optional): Intubation, central lines, chest tubes allowed only under direct physician supervision
Specialty Backup Available:
General Surgery, CT Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Cardiology (including interventional), Pulmonology, Psychiatry, OB/GYN, Hematology/Oncology, Intensivist, Plastics, Dermatology, Pediatrics
