Medcare Staffing is seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for Brookhaven , GA.
What to Expect in This Role:
Enjoy a flexible schedule that gives you real work-life balance work three days one week and four the next, which means you ll have 3 to 4 days off every week to recharge and spend time doing what you love.
In this role, you ll be the sole provider on-site, managing a mix of urgent care and primary care visits for patients ages 2 and up. You'll have the autonomy to make clinical decisions while still being supported by a dedicated team.
On average, you ll see around 35 patients during a 12-hour shift just under three patients per hour giving you time to provide thoughtful, quality care to each individual

Preferred Qualifications:
Curriculum Vitae DEA
Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing practices, and reimbursement procedures
Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and bloodborne pathogen standards
Proficient in commonly used PC applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and internet browsers; comfortable navigating electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Prior experience in occupational health, including continuing medical education (CME) standards, drug screening protocols, and workplace health practices
