Description: Specialty: CRNA Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 26 weeks Shift Details: 4 x 10 (No Weekends, No Call; M T or T F) Schedule: Full-Time; 0630AM 0530PM (1/2-hour lunch) ; MUST be available 3 weeks/month Facility will also consider 4x10, 5x10, 3x12, 4x12, 5x12 Work Details: • Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity) CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1, or 3-1. The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room, so their primary focus is on that room, and on teaching. • Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time, 4 x 10/week, 6 months • Patients per day: Depends, 1-9/daily • Patient population/age: All age spans (no Neonatal) • Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart) • EMR: EPIC preferred • Special procedures: • Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB. Practice Setting: • Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center) |
