General Laboratory Supervisor Clinical Laboratory

A well-regarded healthcare facility in Tennessee is seeking an experienced General Laboratory Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations across multiple lab sections. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Medical Technologist ready to take on more responsibility in a leadership-focused, hands-on role.

• Supervise testing personnel and ensure timely, accurate reporting of results

• Oversee high-complexity testing in areas such as Hematology, Chemistry, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Immunology
  

• Provide real-time support to staff for technical questions and problem-solving

• Assign workloads, monitor productivity, and help maintain quality standards

• Perform bench work as needed, including specimen evaluation, preparation, and testing

• Assist with training new staff and students, as well as performance evaluations and audits

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards (including CLIA and CAP)

• Support equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and procedure documentation

• Graduate of an approved Medical Technology program

• 
  Tennessee Laboratory Supervisor License (or eligible to obtain within 90 days)

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Medical Technologist

• Strong working knowledge of high-complexity testing and lab operations

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
