Description: Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH), an independent, not-for-profit critical access hospital, is seeking an experienced Director of Philanthropy to join our Vermont-based healthcare organization. This strategic leadership position partners with the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees to advance philanthropic initiatives that support our hospital and community impact programs. The Director of Philanthropy will design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive development program encompassing capital campaigns, annual giving, major gifts, grateful patient programs, planned giving, donor relations and stewardship, and database management. This role requires coordination with the Board's Philanthropy Committee, ensuring that all fundraising strategies and communications align with NVRH's mission of delivering high-quality, progressive, community-focused care. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively across all organizational levels, including Board members, senior leadership, department managers, medical staff, and employees throughout the hospital system. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont while building lasting relationships with donors who share our commitment to community health and wellness.
