Description: Adelphi is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services to students in a public school district in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will deliver in-person assessment, direct therapy, and consultation services to students, supporting fine motor skills, personal care, eating, and sensorimotor development as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

  • Current and valid license from the California Board of Occupational Therapy.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a school-based or educational setting.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.



Responsibilities:



  • Conduct occupational therapy screenings and evaluations for students aged 322.

  • Prepare evaluation and re-evaluation reports with analysis of functional levels and therapy goals.

  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services per IEPs and in collaboration with school teams.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to annual goal development.

  • Maintain accurate documentation including therapy logs, progress reports, and Medicaid billing data.

  • Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other staff to support student inclusion and success.

  • Adhere to all federal, state, and district guidelines related to special education services.

  • Participate in MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) processes and team-based planning.

  • Maintain compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards in a school environment.

  • Any other duties as assigned.
