Description: Adelphi is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to provide services at a facility in Chinle, Arizona. The ideal candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient maternal-child healthcare services in compliance with established policies and regulations.

Requirements:



  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Midwifery program

  • Board Certification

  • License in any State or US territory

  • Active, unrestricted DEA license (Schedules IIV)

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • PALS

  • ATLS

  • Minimum 6 months experience. (No lapse in clinical practice exceeding six months)



Responsibilities:



  • Deliver professional midwifery care to women and newborns, including high-risk obstetric care.

  • Conduct history and physicals, manage labor and delivery, and perform spontaneous vaginal deliveries.

  • Prescribe and administer medications and anesthesia; perform procedures such as episiotomy and repair.

  • Provide postpartum, family planning, and gynecological services.

  • Utilize facility's Electronic Health Records (EHR) system for documentation.

  • Participate in medical staff meetings, quality assurance, peer reviews, and interdisciplinary care planning.

  • Collaborate with and refer to other health providers as necessary.

  • Educate patients, families, and health professionals on maternal-child health.

  • Comply with HIPAA, Joint Commission, and CMS regulations.

  • Any other duties as assigned.
