Coverage Needed: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Coverage Ongoing Beginning 9/1/2025
Schedule: Call type: 2nd call/backup (response time: 30 min)
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Licensed in Alabama
Fellowship - required
ACLS, BLS
Supervision of APPs and Residents is required
Assignment Details:
Reason for coverage: long term permanent search
Requesting two providers
EMR: Medhost
Practice setting: inpatient
Admissions - required
Hospital is stroke certified
Temporary privileges available - credentialing 30 days
Patients per shift: 12-18
Beds in department: 18
Trauma level: 3
Support staff: 6-9 RN, 1 PA/NPs, tele-ICU to be available overnight starting mid October 1, Internal medicine residents on service as core rotation, and nocturnist available overnight
