Position: Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician


Description: Join Our Oncology Team in Beautiful Coos Bay, Oregon!

Join our esteemed team in the serene community of Coos Bay, Oregon, where exceptional work-life balance meets coastal charm. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon. Our facility features state-of-the-art equipment, a comfortable work environment, and a supportive community.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Accept part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates.
  • Be Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
  • Provide care for an average of 10-15 patients per day in an outpatient setting.
  • Collaborate with an infusion team and other specialties including Radiation Oncology, cardiology, and more.
  • Participate in leading-edge clinical trials.
  • Engage in a full scope of services including outpatient clinic visits and critical lab calls on a 1:4 rotation.

Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (required).
  • Oregon Medical License or willingness to obtain (required).
  • Experience in Radiation Oncology preferred.
  • Clean malpractice history and background.
  • Ability to submit a copy of the NPDB self-query report.
  • Strong ties to Oregon (e.g., family in the area or previous residency).
  • Interest in part-time or full-time employment.

License and Certification Requirements:
  • Valid Oregon Medical License (or willing to obtain).
  • BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified status in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
