Gastroenterology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Gastroenterology Physician to work locum shifts in Oklahoma City OK. Starting Sept 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Gastroenterology role:

Skills required:

Upper GI Endoscopy

Esophageal distribution/manometry

Esophageal manometry interpretation

Small Bowel biopsy

Lower GI endoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy

Colonoscopy

Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube

• Inpatient adult only


• Call 6p-8a


• EMR: EPIC


• Average night call back is 1-3 times per week.

Requirements:

• OK state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC


• Board certified/Board eligible in Gastroenterology


• DEA


• ACLS, BLS
