Description: Optometrist Locum - New Mexico - IHS Work Dates Needed: 6/1/2025 - 5/31/2026 Preferred Schedule: M - F 8AM - 5PM Worksite Setting: Outpatient Clinic Scope of Work: Duties shall include the diagnosis of visual and ocular problems through external and internal physical examination of the eye and adnexa, detection of neuromuscular impairment or anomalies of binocular function. Treatment of visual disorders will include prescription of corrective lenses and pharmacological means, to include all forms of topical ophthalmic therapeutic medications as well as oral ophthalmic medications to manage ocular pathology.
