Description:
We have an immediate need for a locum tenens Radiologist with Nuclear Medicine training to provide diagnostic and therapeutic medical services for our veteran population at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY. This role offers a flexible assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while experiencing Central Kentucky s rich natural landscapes and family-friendly attractions. Diagnostic and therapeutic procedures will include: PET scans including but not limited to Neurology, Oncology, PSMA and NET Imaging, Infection and Cardiac. SPECT scans including but not limited to, planar and dynamic scans. These scans include neurology, cardiology, endocrine, gastrointestinal, oncology, skeletal, tumor/infection, pulmonary, central nervous system and genitourinary. Radioisotope therapy including but not limited to I-131 Ablation and Hyperthyroid therapy, Xofigo, Pluvicto and Lutathera. Must have completed a residency in Nuclear Medicine and be Board Certified with the ABNM. Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 4 weeks.
Monday through Friday 8:00am 4:30pm (excluding federal holidays). Ideally looking for 2 weeks per month. Flexible scheduling available!
