Position Summary
Optigy is seeking a Locums Gastroenterologist to support a growing multi-specialty physician network in Miami-Dade County. This position will focus on the development and delivery of high-quality GI services across a dynamic and collaborative healthcare setting.
Key Highlights
Provide direct patient care with an average of 18 patients per day on clinic days
Perform 5-8 procedures on designated procedure days
Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills required
Make a meaningful impact on patient lives in a medically underserved area
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive environment
Responsibilities
Deliver intensive, evidence-based medical diagnosis, consultation, and care
Develop and manage gastroenterology services in alignment with clinical goals
Ensure high-quality standards consistent with leading healthcare practices
Qualifications
Doctorate degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
3 to 5 years of related experience preferred
Valid Florida Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
DEA certification
BLS/ACLS certification (AHA) with at least 6 months validity
