The Henry Ford Jackson Division of Gastroenterology is committed to exceptional patient care, offering a supportive environment with a full staff in a forward-looking setting. This opportunity includes working closely with a talented team in a hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic making patient access easy and efficient. Teaching opportunities through a Graduate Medical Education program are also available for those interested in academic involvement. Job Responsibilities: - Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient care
- Conduct rounds and assist with clinic operations
- Manage a growing patient load with APP support
- Participate in teaching opportunities as part of the GME program
- Maintain knowledge of organizational practices and issues
- Demonstrate expertise in complex assignments specific to Gastroenterology
- Collaboration with a team of APPs for holistic patient care
- Participate in a 1:6 call ratio, including some weekends
Qualifications: - Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology
- 5-8 years of GI work experience preferred
- ERCP certification required
- Clean malpractice and license history
- Current COVID and flu vaccinations
License and Certification Requirements: - Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Visa support available for H1B candidates (not open to J1)
