Description: Job Title: Permanent Physician - Urology in Jackson, MI Facility Overview:
Join an esteemed team at a prominent healthcare institution in Jackson, Michigan. Our facility boasts a reputation for providing quality care since becoming a part of the Henry Ford Health System in 2016. Located just 77 miles west of Detroit, we pride ourselves on innovation and exemplary service, contributing positively to the health of the Jackson community. Job Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive urological care, accepting TRULY Board Eligible or Board Certified candidates.
- Manage an increasing patient base due to facility growth.
- Participate in an outpatient, inpatient schedule, including rounds and clinic days.
- Engage in a collaborative call rotation of 1:4 for effective work-life balance.
- Conduct surgeries and maintain a clinic schedule: two dedicated OR days per week and 2.5 days in clinic.
- See an average of 22 patients daily, including new patient consultations.
- Utilize our state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for a variety of urological procedures.
- Collaborate with a skilled support staff, including APPs and Medical Assistants.
- Streamline consult processes within a single hospital framework.
- Contribute to a collegial team environment focused on patient-centered care.
- Maintain high standards of care as recognized by numerous accolades, including diversity leadership.
Qualifications: - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology.
- Valid Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Up-to-date flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification or willingness to acquire.
- Clean malpractice and license history.
License and Certification Requirements: - Current and valid Michigan Medical License.
- Board Certification or TRULY Board Eligible status to obtain certification within six months.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications.
- All providers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
