Description: Job Opportunity: Full-Time Physician - Cardiology Join a well-established cardiology program in the heart of Western Nebraska! This facility is recognized for its commitment to patient care, excellence, and integrity. The practice is expanding and is looking for a full-time, fellowship-trained cardiologist, either non-invasive or invasive, who is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in cardiovascular disease. Responsibilities: - Work alongside two primary cardiologists with robust support for call and complex cardiac procedures.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including six cardiothoracic surgeons, seven electrophysiologists, and nearly 20 cardiologists.
- Provide patients with a wide range of cardiac care options thanks to the unique partnership between the Heart Center and Regional West Medical Center.
- Engage in innovative and evidence-based technologies and procedures in patient care.
- Participate in clinical trials, providing patients access to cutting-edge care.
- Ensure high-quality care through a multi-disciplinary approach.
Qualifications: - Board Certified in Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease - REQUIRED
- Active Nebraska license (or in process of obtaining) - REQUIRED
- Completed Fellowship prior to start - REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice history - PREFERRED
- Visa support requirements (J1 or H1B) noted as required if applicable - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements: - Fellowship-trained specialist in Cardiology.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
- Board Eligibility or Certification in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Active medical license in Nebraska.
