Opportunity Highlights
- Seeking a full-time Psychiatric Hospitalist to join a well-established group providing high-quality inpatient care in southeast Alabama
- 14 day on/14 days off schedule, offering a balanced work-life structure with no outpatient responsibilities
- Two teams of two Psychiatrists per shift
- Shared call- alternating every other day after hours and weekends
- Single location- no travel required
- Dedicated support staff
- Teaching opportunity to precept 3rd and 4th year DO medical students and IM residents
- Specializes in inpatient programs for mood/anxiety disorders/geriatrics/substance abuse/consultation and liaison/intensive psychiatric programs
- Full and comprehensive benefits package offered including: Student loan repayment option, $100,000 Signing bonus Paid malpractice and tail coverage
- PSLF eligible employer
- Serving a population of 600,000, located in southeast Alabama with an easy drive to Florida s Gulf Coast beaches
- Dothan, AL offers a short 90-minute drive to the Emerald Coast beaches of Florida, a low cost of living, excellent educational facilities, and traditional southern hospitality
