Description: Full-Time General Orthopedic Surgery Locums Job in Central Florida September Start + Ongoing Jackson and Coker is partnered with a central Florida facility that needs full-time general Orthopedic Surgery locum tenens coverage beginning in early September and ongoing through the end of 2025. The facility will be losing a provider and needs this coverage until they identify a new physician to join their team. Are you available? Coverage need: Seeking full-time 24 hour call coverage, Monday at 7AM - Monday at 7AM Will be required to do 1 day of clinic at a minimum (possible need for outpatient surgeries as well, TBD) Willing to work with two Surgeons that can each do 2 weeks per month to piece need together Details/requirements for opportunity : - Active & unrestricted Florida medical license & DEA is required for this opportunity - Bread & butter general orthopedic surgery - Group currently consists of 2 Orthopedic Surgeons & 1 Orthopedic NP, 1 general + 1 more specialized in extremities (will be covering in place of general) - Call coverage is 7A - 7A, will be required to do a minimum of 1 clinic day per week - Clinic is located on the same campus as the hospital - Program is know for being a busy, full-featured orthopedic surgery program with high-tech robotic capabilities and excellence certifications - Facility is not a designated trauma center (located directly next to a trauma facility), has Epic EMR & 300+ beds - Specific clinic + inpatient volume is pending, however, it's a busy program with consistent mid to high volumes Jackson and Coker offers: + Top Rated Malpractice Insurance + In-House Travel Agency + 24/7 Recruiter Availability + Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Experience wh
