Description: Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Physician in Bad Axe, MI
Join an established medical community at our state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Bad Axe, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for an OB/GYN physician to step into a thriving practice with an existing patient base, supported by a collegial team and a financially sound organization. Bad Axe is home to the only birthing center in the region, ensuring that you will make a meaningful impact on the local community.
Job Responsibilities: - Manage an existing patient panel under an employed practice model.
- Collaborate with a team that includes 1 MD, 1 NP (three days per week), and multiple medical assistants.
- Perform approximately 460 gynecological procedures annually.
- Oversee a patient load of 30-40 patients daily, encompassing both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Enjoy a dedicated surgery day and a balanced work-life schedule.
- Utilize on-site services including ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy.
- Participate in hospital call (24/7) for weekends, with calls limited to Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 7 days per month.
Qualifications: - Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Current Michigan Medical License (or in process).
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain).
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
License and Certification Requirements: - Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
