Description: Immediate hiring for OR tech at Bronx, NY. Role : OR tech Location : 4422 3rd Ave, Bronx, NY 10457 Shift : Nights (9p-7a) Duration : 13 weeks Schedule :4 10's, 40 hours a week. Pay breakdown Hourly rate - $64.00 $24 taxable $40 non-taxable OT rate - $82.00 Weekly Gross - $2,560.00 $960.00 taxable $1600.00 stipend Summary : The OR Tech, under general supervision by the OR Manager/Surgery Center Manager is a member of the OR Team, working with surgeons, registered nurses, anaesthesiologists, certified nurse anaesthetists and ancillary support personnel whose primary function is scrubbing for surgical cases. Other functions include handling instruments, supplies, medication, media, specimens, and instrument cases. When fully trained the OR Tech assumes responsibility for call.
