- 3 FT MD need - 45 shifts/month to cover
- BCEM or BE/BC IM/FM with PALS, ATLS and ACLS. 2 years experience in emergency medicine required.
- Residency Trained requirements: EM, IM, FP w Emergency Medicine experienced/trained
- 24 hrs single coverage MD/12 hrs NPPA staffing model
- MD shift times: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
- NPPA shift time: 10a-10p
- No Call
- Annual Volume: 13,368
- Patients per Day: 38
- 17% EMS
- 11% Admitted Patients
- Level 3 Trauma
- No Scribe Coverage
- 5 ED beds
- Backup Specialties: OB/GYN, Peds, Ortho, IM, Radiology, FP, Surgery - Most transfers go to Lake Charles and Lafayette
- Ochsner EPIC EMR
- 30-60 days credentialing timeframe with active LA licenses, clean file & expedited privilege request
- Temp privs available with active LA license and clean files
- Flu and other immunizations/waiver required
- EMR Training and Orientation required
