Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist |
Description: Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist will assist the HR Department with various functions, under the guidance of the Sr. HR Director. The Talent Acquisition Specialist should be organized and possess a high level of confidentiality. This role will require the individual to interact with many different people and therefore requires the employee to remain calm, informative, and helpful during a variety of scenarios. Duties & Responsibilities: - Consults with hiring manager to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications. for vacant positions across the organization.
- Assists in writing and reviewing job descriptions and postings.
- Posts vacant positions using the best solution for the position, including Paycor Applicant Tracking System (ATS), industry and position specific resources, and any additional recruiting sites outside the ATS.
- Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities.
- Selects and screens qualified candidates, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
- Assists hiring managers with interviews and collecting feedback to determine placement.
- Directs candidates regarding the recruitment process and requirements.
- Assists with employee onboarding and training.
- Collects, maintains, and organizes a variety of HR data, particularly involving recruitment.
- Assists in creating, administering, and auditing HR policies and procedures.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Coordinates and/or supports company initiatives and events.
- Other projects and initiatives that drive organizational goals and results.
Supervisor Responsibilities: Education, Certifications & Qualifications: - High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two to three years Human Resources experience, preferably in recruiting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Knowledge of Human Resources statutes, policies, and procedures.
- Outside the box thinking when it comes to recruiting in a tight labor market.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, self-motivated and energetic.
- Excellent ability to work in a team-fostered environment.
- Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and a desire to create solutions.
- Must have the ability to work in sensitive and confidential situations.
- Prior experience working under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
- Ability to uphold regulatory and company standards.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport and effective communication with diverse levels within the company and external organizations.

The employee is moderately required to stand and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- This position will work in an office setting but may travel to off-site locations and therefore require wearing all PPE depending on circumstance which may include dust mask, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection, high-visibility safety vest and/or safety pants and/or steel toed footwear. At times client contract driven PPE may also be required.
