Princeton Tool, a Princeton Precision Group company is seeking an experienced Lead Dimensional Inspector looking to grow with our diversified organization, supporting the Aerospace and Defense industry. The Lead Dimensional Inspector is responsible for ensuring product compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Lead Dimensional Inspector will collaborate within a multi-functional team to ensure parts are compliant and meet customer specifications. Adherence to industry documentation requirements and continuous process improvement is required. This opportunity has unlimited growth potential.

Requirements:
- Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing Quality Assurance and the customer
- Perform dimensional inspection(s) using appropriate inspection equipment to assess 1st piece conformance to customer blueprints / spec requirements
- Prepare, analyze, and submit FAIR's with attention to commitment date(s)
- Review inspection data to determine process capability, quality concerns, and corrective actions
- Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection
- Support, create, and implement documentation required to maintain annual AS9100D certification
- Create and improve processes and procedures utilizing APQP methodologies
- Assist in the pursuit of quality certifications with aerospace and defense product lines
- Actively provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Assist in all continuous improvement activities related to our QMS.
- Promoting and executing quality standards, inspection processes, test methodology, quality plans, documents, and reports
- Assisting in process certification
- Reviewing customers' purchase orders, contracts and change requests and ensuring that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and process plans
- Reporting to management on quality issues, trends, and losses
- Prepare for and participate in both internal and external quality audits
- Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives concerning problems with quality assurance and ensure that effective corrective action is implemented
- Serve as the Quality Assurance representative to the Materials Review Board (MRB)
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering or equivalent, or associate degree in one of these fields plus minimum 5 years industrial experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within a metal processing environment
- Ability and willingness to program and operate inspection equipment as needed
- Strong knowledge, understanding and execution of first article inspection
- Expert level application of Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process methodologies
- Broad knowledge of theory and principles of statistics and statistical process control
- Diverse knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong computer skills including QA applications, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Knowledge of and training in the following areas: General safety, Electrostatic Discharge Awareness, Foreign Object Damage Awareness, Quality System Awareness
Compensation
- Compensation for this role is negotiable.
- Minimum salary: $52,000.00 per year
Princeton Precision Group abides by applicable export control laws including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) in accordance with the company's export control procedures. Most positions require access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information.
