The Security Operations Support provides essential support to two core facility functions: Security and Mailroom. This position includes securing the premises and monitoring systems, as well as sorting, processing, and delivering mail and packages. Work schedules are variable and may require adaptability.







ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Conduct safety and security checks of all interior and exterior spaces, including vehicles and other properties permanently or temporarily placed on Tower Hill property.

  • Maintain logs of all visitors, including time of arrival, purpose of visit, and time of departure.

  • Monitor surveillance cameras to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.

  • Promptly respond to any incidents or unusual activity observed on surveillance feeds.

  • Safely operate security equipment and vehicles.

  • Oversee the destruction of sensitive corporate documents.

  • Maintain proper company uniform when working Security.

  • Perform security and safety duties in any type of weather or adverse condition.

  • Sort, prepare, process and distribute incoming mail and packages.

  • Operate high-speed scanning equipment to scan documents into the Imaging System.

  • Operate department meter machine for the mailing of the outgoing mail.

  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and advance setting changes to the scanner.

  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate safety and security needs, including availability for overtime and varied shifts.

EDUCATION


High School Diploma or GED required.







EXPERIENCE


Minimum of one (1) year of relevant security and safety work experience required.


Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 preferred. (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel).







CERTIFICATIONS


CPR/AED/First Aid certifications by the American Red Cross and/or OSHA - 10 preferred.







LICENSES


Security Officer (Class D) License required.


Valid Driver's License required.
