We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Strict adherence to our Company Core Values & Vision Statement expectations.


• Provide customer service by greeting, assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Assist in all customer on-boarding activities.


• Process payment transactions and update customer records consistent with Company policy.


• Assist in directing & implementing sales processes and other activities as needed to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.


• Manage the rental agreement process including file organization and special orders.


• Manage, update, and maintain the store's showroom appearance ensuring product placement, pricing, cleanliness, and related tasks are completed on-time.


• Establish sales performance goals for store and staff on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.


• Manage and update the store's CRM system for maximum efficiency and success.


• Perform general maintenance for the store, and product, as well as various marketing, sales and customer service functions.


• Assist in product delivery, return and service of merchandise.


• Assist in maintaining inventory and store supplies.


• Assist in overseeing cash control functions and maintaining operating records and information.


• Perform various administrative functions for customer sales & service activities.


• Confer and review daily assignments with the Store Manager or immediate supervisor.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours:

Ability to work a standard 5-day, 40-hour work week on a consistent basis. Scheduled hours include Mondays through Saturdays from 9:00AM through 7:00PM. Individual schedules will vary based on business demands. Stores are closed on Sunday's and employees will receive one additional day off per week.

  Education - High School Diploma or GED required


• 
  Experience -One (1) year of work experience in retail or an organization performing customer service, retail sales, and other sales related duties.


• 
  Training - Completion of New Hire Orientation, completion of all required internal training.


• 
  Special Requirements - Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays. The passing of a successful pre-employment drug test and background review may be required for this position. Blue Ocean has declared its stores to be a smoke-free and drug-free workplace. Random drug testing may be instituted.


• 
  Lifting - Physical capacity to safely lift or move products in and around the showroom floor with a dolly or the assistance of another person without sustaining a physical injury or damaging the merchandise.


• 
  Data Entry - The ability to enter data in a computer.
