Description: JOB TITLE: Director of Food and Nutritional Services JOB HOURS: Varies JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Food and Nutritional Services is a Management position responsible for overseeing all foodservice/clinical activities, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance within the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES: - Provide direction and guidance for all foodservice operations
- Develop strategies for delivering high-quality, compliant food choices
- Comply with regulatory standards and confidentiality regulations
- Manage budget, expenses, and payroll activities
- Lead team in providing clinical and therapeutic services
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs and quality improvement initiatives
SKILLS: - Strong leadership and management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Experience in food service operations
- Ability to manage budgets and track expenses
QUALIFICATIONS: - Education: Bachelor s or advanced degree in foods, nutrition, or food service administration (Master s preferred)
- Licensure/Certification: Completion of a dietetic internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Current Missouri Licensure for Registered Dietitians
- Work Experience: 1-3 years of Leadership and Management experience
