Position: Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner |
Description:
Our client in St. Joseph county, IN is in need of a Geriatric Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a Locum assignment!
Job details:
- Start - ASAP
- EMR: currently TruChart but will be switching to Epic in March.
- Title Nurse Practitioner
- Hours: Full-time (however, will consider Part-time as well)
- Duration of assignment: Six (6) months to start
- On Call coverage one week on, and one week off.
- Need Geriatric experience
- For on-call during the week it is from approximately 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM the next day.
- On Saturday and Sunday, it is the entire day.
- There is no requirement to go anywhere when Nurse Practitioners take call. They only need to be available by phone.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
- AANP
- Active and unrestricted full license
- Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
- CV needs current home address listed for presentation
- Will need a copy of ECFMG certificate if they attended school in a different country.
