Internal Medicine Physician

Join us in New Mexico as a General Medicine Physician, where you will play a vital role in serving our nation's Veterans. This opportunity is with a team that focuses on providing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in various locations, including Silver City, Hobbs, and Roswell. The need is ongoing and is available on both a half-day and full-day basis.

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams, with some physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete required training and perform first exams to qualify for a bonus.
• Conduct regular follow-up administrative work as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all Qualification and Certification requirements.

• Proficient in METs testing and evaluation/diagnoses of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification desired.
• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
• Ability to provide a current home address for presentation purposes.

• Active medical license in the state of New Mexico.
• DMA certification (or willingness to obtain).
• License number and certification number required for submission.
