Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Join a dedicated team committed to serving our nation's veterans! This locum opportunity allows you to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across New Mexico. You will work in your own office locations in Silver City, Hobbs, and Roswell, providing essential services to those who have served.

• Conducting Compensation & Pension exams (C&P exams) and separation health assessments.
• Performing interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Completing required administrative work including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostics readings.
• Providing services on a PRN basis, with flexibility to work half-day (4-hour) and/or full-day (8-hour) shifts.
• Ensuring proper documentation and reporting for all conducted exams.
• Participating in ongoing training and maintaining competency in required skills.

• Proficient in METs testing and assessing respiratory and cardiovascular health.
• Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• AANP certification required.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice in New Mexico.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.

• Current and active AANP certification.
• Full unrestricted license in New Mexico (NM).
• Must be willing to undergo DMA training if not already certified.
