Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Join a dedicated team making a difference for our nation s Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments throughout Michigan. This role allows for flexibility in practice, with the option to work from your own office location. The ideal candidate will support Veterans while benefiting from quick credentialing and onboarding processes.

• Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Ensure no prescribing or treatment is involved in this role.
• Participate in ongoing training and remain current with certifications.
• Complete necessary documentation and administrative work related to evaluations.

• Proven experience in General Medicine.
• Strong background in family or internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or similar fields.
• Familiarity with METs testing and evaluation of respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan.
• Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
