Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Join a dedicated team of medical professionals in serving our nation's Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across various locations in Arkansas.

This role allows you to utilize your medical expertise in a non-treatment setting, focusing on evaluations that are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments. Work is available on a PRN basis, offering flexibility to fit your schedule.

• Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform interviews and physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete required documentation, including addendums and medical opinions.
• Participate in training to become DMA certified.
• Manage administrative tasks related to evaluations on a regular basis.

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Active and unrestricted full license in Arkansas.
• AANP certification required.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.

• Valid Arkansas nursing license.
• AANP certification.
• Willingness to complete DMA training.
