- Average number of scheduled vs. walk-in patients per shift: 14 scheduled, 6 same-day visits
- Time between patients: No scheduled time between patients
- Capable of performing treatment procedures for acute illnesses or injuries
- Able to remain calm and effective in high-pressure and emergencies
- Provides care for patients from newborn to age 18 in an office-based setting
- Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
- Treats acute illnesses and injuries
- Prescribes medications performs routine vaccinations and provides health advice
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within pediatrics
- Ensures accurate and complete medical documentation, following company policies, aiming for 80%+ E/M coding accuracy (goal: 95%)
- Proper HCC coding for eligibility for VBC bonuses
- Closes/signs off patient charts after reviewing, according to company policies
- May require travel to healthcare practices
- Work environment: Low to moderate noise level
